I purchased the green cube shelving and basically used the bookcase to display books but transformed the room by adding plants and candles on the top with other collectibles.

These cubes were exactly what we were looking for to use as book and toy storage for my toddler. We've stacked them several different ways before settling on a configuration that worked well. My little one likes to climb on them, or take a book from one and sit on top to read it. They are sturdy and were simple to put together. We use those little bin-type drawer inserts from [@]with the animal faces for non-book storage. We just love them.
