About Martin Furniture
Martin Furniture was founded in 1980 by Gil Martin in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon. Martin started the company in his garage with $400, a Craftsman table saw, and the business knowledge he gained from working for defense contractor, General Dynamics. Today, Martin Furniture specializes in American-made and imported office and home entertainment furniture. In 2003, it teamed up with Kathy Ireland's design company, creating furniture solutions for families. Products are fully assembled but may require some final assembly such as the placement of glass pieces, shelves or assemble of beds. Remember to take accurate measurements to insure the product will fit into your desired space.
Normal household cleaners and furniture polishes can be used for cleaning and dusting. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, as that can damage the finish. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Microfiber cloths are recommended. Spray cleaners onto the cloth rather than direclty on the finish. Avoid placing furniture directly near heat or air conditioning outlets, as exposure to extreme temperature variations can damage any fine wood furniture.
