The Premier Bookcase is perfect for basic book storage needs. Children's rooms, spare rooms and offices will benefit from the additional affordable storage space. Constructed of 5/8-inch high-impact engineered wood, this durable bookcase is made in the USA. The tough melamine laminate surface is easy to clean, and it resists scratches and stains. The adjustable shelves will accommodate all kinds of objects of various heights: books, DVDs, CDs, and decorative accents. A curved and straight bottom molding piece is included. You choose the look you want to best fit your decor.


Shelf weight capacity: 18 lbs., evenly distributed

 

Please note: Bookcases finished in Oak, White, and Black will having matching backing. Bookcases finished in Cherry and Espresso will have black backing. Assembly required

I love this bookcase. I bought it in a black. The assembly was fairly easy. My fiancee did it without the instructions. I love how it blends in with my decor. This is a great buy and I recommend it to anyone. The back as you know isnt wood however it is pretty sturdy. I truly love this book case and I hope that this was helpful.

Must mention assembly is easy and shelves are sturdy but looks are marginal.

    I purchased these bookshelves as storage in my walk-in pantry. I wish they had had 1 more shelf for my light-weight storage needs, but buying another shelf is very expensive.

    Shipping time was very reasonable, just a few days. And they arrived on the day promised.

    We bought two of these to fit on either side of a desk. They are really perfect for our needs. If I had to make a negative comment it would be that the holes that hold the shelves, on the black book case, should be sprayed black as well.

    There was no assembly instructions. If you're a veteran at build-it-yourself furniture, you'll be fine; first-timers may struggle identifying the various pieces. VERY heavy as boxed; not so bad once fully assembled.

      Assembly took about 30 minutes. Seems a little unstable but once you put things on it it is steady enough. Comes with an anchor for the wall just in case. Ours came without any scratches or knicks :) For the price it's a great bookcase!
