Designed to provide sturdy and durable shelf storage, these bookcases are also very easy to assemble. The Safco - Steel Quick-Lock Bookcases feature attractive, plastic snap-in radius corners that make assembly easy and add to the overall strength. Offering from two to six shelves (depending on the height chosen), these bookcases are constructed of strong steel with a wood composite back panel. During initial assembly, the shelves adjust at 1-inch intervals for ultimate flexibility. Generous 12-inch-deep shelves accommodate three-ring binders and large publications. Placed on a desk, beside a table, or against a wall, the variety of heights available will accommodate your home or office storage needs. Choose from among black, gray, or sand baked-enamel finishes over the steel.

Assembly was unneccessarliy cumbersome and frustrating. The saving grace is that the unit is the perfect size for our needs. In the end, it hold the stuff we need to hold, and looks decent.

Lighter weight than I expected. Not substantial at all. And it arrived with a crease (a manufacturer issue, [...]). I knew I could send it back, but that seemed like a lot of work. On the good side, the price was reasonable, it was available in a hard-to-find size, and it was fairly easy to assemble.
