      looks nice, but holes on one side for shelf a little off, so could not stant dvd's all the way across, was to tight. had to lay half of them down on one shelf.

        Shelf has obviously been redesigned for the better. The instructions were clear, hardware in separate numbered pouches, bolts now have threaded plastic inserts to prevent splitting, and the back is now hard masonite. Only 2 movable shelves, but that's a good thing, makes the unit more stable. Fits books up to 7 1/2" deep. I bought 2, may get another. Enjoyed putting them together.

        Slight backward tilt lets it clear baseboard and wires at the floor, yet meets the wall perfectly at the top. Suggest you glue all the parts (except movable shelves) together w/Gorilla or a good wood glue, makes it rock solid. The wood veneer is beautiful. They look twice as expensive as they are. You won't leave this to your grandchildren as an heirloom piece, but they might take it off to college!

          I was so impressed with this product! I love that all my paperbacks/CD's/DVD's fit nicely in it! Plus, I don't have to worry about them collecting dust! This bookcase is beautiful--love the glass doors and the wood finish! Not only is it practical, it is elegant! Because it does not stick out very far and is not really tall, I could place a beautiful picture above it and put it in a small space! Just Love It!
